Ask and I shall answer.
Been in Oregon since 2000. Prior I was in various places close to the East coast. Back then I felt a need to leave and Eugene, thankfully, pulled me in. Become pretty damn Oregonized since then. Eugene is my home and I have no plans to change that (yet). I feel like I am in a constant state of change. I get bored easily doing the same thing over again. I've learned to ride the experience of life with both arm up yelling "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!". If there is music, I'm probably dancing. If there is only one person left on the dance floor, it's likely me. In 2001 I discovered Burning Man. Been 5 times (skipped 2006) and feel like I never want to miss another. I feel such a strong connection to the community, art, gift economy, self expression, safety third mentality, radical self reliance, shared ecstatic experience, and so much more. Last Friday night (just for the heck of it and to help everyone show off their glow) I brought out my recently self-built 100w fluorescent blacklight to the kick-ass mansion party. Early morn I was asked if it could be used for Mothership Connection that night. I was down to share the love. I believed it was in good hands and that I'd see it that night and then take it home afterwards.
