I am:
+ a weird person who loves music [!], anime, video games - Nintendo DS + Xbox + PS2, and basically all things Japanese + generally not the life of the party, and not particularly friendly, but I can be with the right people. + all about sharing, to a degree; life's less about taking than giving, after all

A few nights ago I sat up straight in my bed from a dead sleep with only one thing on my mind: what happens to my consciousness when I die? The dream I had just experienced was tantamount to an incomprehensible black void; only it didn't feel like a dream. Not any dream I've experienced previously. It was more of a sense than a dream, a sense of nothingness, a feeling of being compressed into the smallest ... read more
I've been waiting for this game since it was announced that it would be coming to U.S. stores. SMT: Persona 3 is a turn-based role-playing game for the Playstation 2 console.

Unlike Microsoft, who essentially abandoned its original Xbox, Sony is keeping its PS2 console owners happy with new games like Odin Sphere and the aforementioned Persona 3 game. This game hits game store shelves on Tuesday, August 14th.
Last night I rediscovered Battle Royale. For anyone who's unfamiliar with BR - I might as well say "everyone" -, it's a Japanese film based on the Japanese manga by the same name. Its story revolves around a future/alternate Japan where the government is so serious about disciplining its youth that they go as far as sending a randomly selected high-school class to participate in a deadly game to death every year.

I'm using artificial tears to remedy the situation, and frightening Target-brand fake neosporin [probably made in China] in case the outer corners start looking [yikes!]...

That stupidity would belong to me, since I forgot my username and password for this account since sometime last year. As much as I love blogging, this is unthinkable for me.

Anyway a lot has happened since then. A lot of it has to do with music, since I love music more than my own life. I'll post more later. A thunderstorm is coming up and I have to shut down. Tampa's not known as the lightning capitol of the world for nothing. Ugh, I see that they still don't allow HTML/CSS posts here... read more

**The Byrds also recorded a musical version of this poem, but This Mortal Coil’s music and vocals adds new depth to an already truly disquieting song. Performed by This Mortal Coil circa 1991 Written by N.Hikmet I come and stand at every door But no one hears my silent tread I knock and yet remain unseen For I am dead, for I am dead. I’m only seven although I died In Hiroshima long ago I’m seven now as I was then When children die they do not ... read more
