Clove cigarettes banned. Goths everywhere depressed. No one can tell the difference.
President Obama signed into law a bill that would prohibit the sale of "flavored" cigarettes. This includes cloves.

This is supposed to prevent minors from smoking. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there ALREADY a law that prevents minors from smoking?

The new law will also make the warnings on the packs BIGGER, like in Canada and Europe.... as though warning size was the problem. Smokers actually had no idea that cigarettes were bad for them because the warnings were too small.

Auto bailout
Auto industry CEOs appeared on Capitol Hill today to ask for a $25 billion bailout. Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) asked the top execs if they would be willing sell their corporate jets and travel home on commercial flights.



Sherman asked the CEOs, "I'm going to ask you to raise your hand if you are planning to sell your jet in place now and fly back commercial."



"Let the record show, no hands went up," noted Sherman.



MSNBC's Contessa Brewer and Mike Viqueira discussed the CEOs' lack of response. "I have to tell you, just listening to that is awkward," said Brewer.



You're not helping your case there, fellas.



For the record, I drive a GM four-door midsize sedan that bought in September of 2000 because I wanted to buy American. It had 6 miles on the odometer then, now it's somewhere around 190,000. I am still quite happy with it.

How many times have you looked at the tattoos on Leslie Presley's legs and thought, "I wish I could have tattoos like that!"  Well envy no more, my dears!  Now, thanks to Agent Provocateur you can have legs just like Leslie's without all that tedious and painful mucking about in the tattoo parlor!

Come on - Really - how many talents an a man have before it's considered moderately obscene? A superb musician and crowd pleaser, an excellent persona as Edgar Allan Poe, a novelty short film producer with an air toward dark comedy and this followed closely by having a personality and being able to converse with a sense of knowing his subject well. Friends? Oh no we're not friends, but I am inspired.
