Hey all, I am starting/MCing a new open-mic Poetry Jam at a great new cafe in North Portland.

I am in desperate need of a DJ who is willing to spin for free for the first show. Dinner and beers included. We will likely provide PA system. It would require 3 hours of your time. First show is not until November.

It will be an all ages, multicultural night of poetry and possibly hip hop...trying to make this the poetry jam night of my dreams. The venue is great. I just need a DJ to open, play during intermission and close with a 30+ minute dance set.
