Out of the hundreds of people I know that talk about changing the world, this is one of the few that does something about it. This man, in many ways, is a true example of what it really takes to create an impact. The shear combination of passion and vision that he exudes motivates and drives people around him. By all means, he does not have every piece he needs, so he compensates by pulling those he trusts that have needed and complementary pieces close to him, and then close to his heart. I am honored to call this man my brother and fellow knight of the table round.

Matt 's most mellow. Matt's most mirth. Matt's a fine fellow man of Earth.
Matt is strong, Matt is kind. Matt has long expanded his mind.
Matt makes maze, Matt makes mist. Matt in blaze with chains in fist.
Matt was here, Matt was there. Matt could be just about anywhere!
Matt is out, Matt is busy. Matt's about to call, but is he?
Matt I know, Matt I miss. Matt is so much more than this!

there are those you look to for guidance, friendship, and strength, matt is all of these and more. i find myself often times reflecting on words that have been spoken by matt, as a student sits and reflects on the words of a teacher.
full of inspiration and motivation, a true warrior who has dedicated his life to protecting and building community.
beyond all this, he is full of life and love, one of the truest friends, through hardship and laughter i have ever had.
it's an honor to have matt in my life.

when this man tells you he respects you, you know you have done something very right. i feel at times he is my right hand man, someone who is driven and intelligent, talented and passionate. i am so thankful to have the opportunities working next to him. i trust him so much im willing to take on a job he offers to me without even knowing what it means. [ah, what a good laugh that was.]

There was a time in my life when i referred to Matt as a fire student of mine. I laugh at those days now...in a matter of mere months Matt's skills have exploded from within, and his shows are tremendous. I'm proud to perform next to him.
