Winner (ten years running) of the disfunctional home and gardens distinguished, what the fuck award! Master of ceramonies in hells own satan roast, and proud owner of the largest liver on the planet. My most tallented friend.

I'm a home bartender with a background in chemistry, who writes on the side, when not working in retail, making sure the place doesn't walk off during a nine-hour day. An excellent quote I heard which I feel is applicable is "the family of the new century will not be related by blood but by friendship". I also do a fair amount of reading, and have a hole burned through my library card, which is rapidly stocking more and more of my type of literature.

It also upgraded my attitude, I'll tell you that much; being independently online can make you feel ten fucking feet taller. With luck, I'll be an online fool for quite some time to come; I plan on adding a few new knicknacks and bric-a-brac to my collection, with the following spearheading my charge into the 1970's and beyond... 1.) Hot tub. Oh, yes. Nothing like getting in touch wit... read more
The lists, they are a-flurry o' activity. We've got folks backing up their own stories, bullshit of every stripe hurling around and the perennial favorite, the hem-and-haw maneuver. How very Republican of these people.

Some folks might not know what I'm referring to, which is sort of cool, I guess -- I'm a bit baffling when I'm at my most concise, generally-speaking. But, this... this I'll clear up. Specifically, it is about the cancellation of Egil's this coming year. First, a def... read more
Wow. I never thought I'd be at a loss for words. Turns out, I was, am and may well be for a little while. I'm sort of recuperating, sort of wrapping my mind around my health these days, and trying to get back to a happier place of being.

As it works out, I'm confused about a few parts of my life. First: a guy I knew in Eugene blew a hole in his head. Trouble is, he should have aimed better, and done the job properly. He used to be my wingman, confidante and dopebuddy. Turns out, he was ... read more
It's official: I have some kind of anxiety-based problem. To those who know me well, this is not what would be considered 'news'. What I've gone through in the last week or so has proven to me I seriously need to re-evaluate what's going on with my life.

I've had three panic attacks in five days; two were sufficient to send my ass to the nearest hospital (at the time, they were referring to the incidents as 'palpatations', which is medical lingo for 'probably stressed out which is why you... read more
I received a copy of a Republican's ball-sniffing Presidential-class "Republicans are The Good Guys" gushing commentary on politics, as viewed from one of the elite, elected and entitled amongst the country's wealthier sector.

My rebuttal, it seems, should follow the same vein: "In today’s America, ask a growing number of high school and college students; their teachers and professors; the self-anointed media elite and/or hard working men and women of all ethnicities, the question, “What ... read more

Well, not exactly, but it was close. The car went 'foom', but it still didn't bring me down. I had enough chow to survive, albeit with a bit of hunger to keep me company, but still.. not a problem. My gear, all two backpacks and a Tablero board, got packed up without incident, and I was shucked into unloading a minivan and a trailerload of gear I did not use, food I didn't eat and garb worn by people I barely saw, and certainly didn't ... read more
