Not that this place is all that active of late, but if you were on my friend's list and disappeared all mysterious-like it's because my profile was cheesed before the last downtime. Lost about 40 friends, a couple blog entries, and a couple dozen tribes aren't on the list anymore. Everything else came back, mebbe the rest will the next time they do system maintenance. *cough* Riiiiight.

on the way back from burning man yesterday, about halfway through south dakota, my sister called me to let me know that my mother has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. i learned today that she has 4 to 6 months, maybe a little more if she fights.
this is just too much. my heart feels shredded. i am barely breathing.
