Friday my parents and two sisters came into town for a weekend visit. We went to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) and saw Bodyworlds 3. It was absolutly amazing. I wish I'd had a whole lot of time to hang out with my sctech book - or better yet, full time access to a plastinated cadaver. While the interal organs were cool and fascinating, I was most interested in the bones and muscle layers. Quite a few of the cadavers were quite elegent (gymnasts, athletes, etc) in form ...

The man and I arrived in Utah last Tuesday night. We didn't sleep well because it was hot and windy and all of the moisture was sucked from our bodies the moment we emerged from the airport. Although I lived in Utah for over 25 years, I just can't take that much dry.
