I'll never say that I realized that even your "soul mate" can dim oyur inner fire
or that for a short time I wandered day to day dragging my feet, feeling depressed, broken and tired
Instead I will rise with the sun,
drink in my kids,
smile and pretend to have fun
I'll greet each day with a purpose and a plan
I'll pursue each goal with subborn commitment
untill I've forgotten how the sadness began.
