wheeling to be exact, about 50 miles from pittsburgh, pa. playing with a real good band called the trainjumpers, great draw, great venues, and we recently performed live on local radio and tv. tomorrow, we're in the studio to cut a single for local radio. our myspace is http://www.myspace.com/thetrainjumpers I'd like to get the band out to denver sometime to see my friends out there. until then, if you're going to be nearby drop me a line.

back in the travel industry, politics sucks. working out tunes with brian, curt and ethan. really excited about this one, everyone writes and sings. working on a book about psycholinguistics and phonetics as well as aural aesthetics. also focusing on the etudes, tone poems, and overtures. ~riff

living with Sergio again, missing the warehouse but glad to be back with an old friend. Sergio just got back from flying blackhawks for god and country in Iraq. says it's getting worse over there. nothing else about it. the muses dissected the band's collective at pete's. can't wait to say after the second gig, "looks like we're going downhill, boys!" turning 26, another feather. raising money for the democrats so I can eat. can't help feeling like a tool, knowing life would be so much more grand without the feds. something I read about the french populace doing better during the revolution than under Bonaparte. guy bitchin at work about me liking Heidegger, so I switched topics to poetry. he said poetry was worthless and philosophy was the only true literary form. I mentioned that a poem was to philosophy what a painting was to a photograph. the artistry of each being, most simply, description. pimp'd my tribe page with some pics I found on Sergio's computer. thanks.
