The party was a mini festival called Open Source, and featured alot of good artists. I was very impressed with the location, an old bathinghotel. planted in the middle of the lovely norwegian mountain side.... I personally consider this show one of our best so far, no major fuckups, and we even played an ekstra track on request ^^ Thanks to Kim (Loke) and the rest of the Open Source crew for once again bringing us back to my beloved norway. Booms to Dronebixie, Nemo, Anar and Zoolog for making this trip a fun one.
but insteed i spend the weekend at "Danmarks Smukkeste Festival" (rock/pop festival in the forest).

and wihuiheyahuhajadudejsadaogsaa what a party... it was more or less raining non stop so the forest floor was a big pile of nice thick sloppy mud. mmmm... but nothing my rubberboots couldent keep out. I saw some fantastic koncerts there, and the top one must have been Becks amazing puppet show... The koncert started with just puppets of the band members playing the first track... and in the end of the track the band came running in dressed in the same outfit as the puppets... and all during the show the puppets keept imitating the moves of the band. except from this they had a jam on the plates and glasses of a nicely set dinner tabel, danced to there own music dressed in bear costumes and the show ended with fractal graphics on the bigscreen and massive lightshow... wheeew a show. Jamiroquai also did a fucking great job, making a wet/drunk/grumpy festival into funk monsters... JK is the ultimate dancer... :D all in all a pretty good festival expirience with out any unlucky encouters with the police like previous years :P
so finnaly the first AnnoyingNinjas release have seen the light... The Cosmic Theatre rec. first compilation, called by the same name, have just become available at webshops across the net...

I have to admit i was expecting more from both my self and the music :P top concerts for me must have been: Badun (now with the vicious spiral) - a very nice concert with massive cliks, cuts and breaks and a deep jazzy touch. Bo Marley - dident see to much of the concert, but i always love this semi german ragga band... Soundmurderer - Even thou he dident play the music i was expecting, he sure made the party fly, with his intense jungle style... a little fluffy to begin with but ended up being tottalllllly nice and hardcore... Puzzleweasle - even thou i would like him to shut up and stop playing with his microphone, he still played some fuckin awsome tracks... i really like his style... Sora - mmm angels are singing in my head... this guy is a one man classical bigband... he plays the most amzing melodies mixed in a nice "cutty" athmosphere.... alot of other good stuff aswell, but these are my favorites this year... i must add im kinda dissapointed in Otto Van Schirach... his show was almost 50% him speakin hardcore gangster bullshit in a mic. through some kind of distortion... borring... shut up and play goddamnit... the tracks he played when he dident talk was okay music thou... but i liked his older stuff better... hmm well but thats just me i guess.. :D
