I just upgraded to the newest release of Ubuntu (6.06) (linux). All I have to say is that its awesome, seriously. I installed it. I just burned a cd with my external cd burner. No fuss, no muss, it just works. Ipod Shuffle support has been great. Installing packages is easy. Wifi and ethernet works out of the box. This is the first release I've tinkered with where 98% of things have worked out of the box. The other thing that I like is that the things that don't work have decent documentation:

The only thing I would wish for is a switch to turn off the wireless card when I'm not using it... but if I knew more terminal commands I could probably figure it out.
