Tracy is fabulous! She has a fun car, anti-gravity hair that defies all weather, a great personality, and she's amusing to eat sushi with.
She can switch from insightful-introspective to screaming-with-laughter within seconds, and be truly invested in the moment, in both.
Life sits easy on her shoulders, and she is constantly interacting and engaging others with her humor and wit. Even complete strangers in the car next to her!!!

Radiant being
Big smile, blonde hair, silver car

about me
"I get sick and tired of people saying 'oh, the world is terrible, the streets are dirty, there are too many drugs, the wars... .'
What else do you do? Do you kvetch? What else do you do?

- Bill Graham, 1986

This is from my friend Shadow Angelina who escaped to Shreveport with her mother. Please forward - if I could be John Cusack holding up the boombox so her voice can be heard. My drowning hurting city - my beautiful friend - her aching heart... pass it on.
My Love,
You are the first safe place that I have known. Seems strange to say considering your reputation. When we first met, I was young, stupid, self-involved. Even then, I could feel you, see you, I was so drawn to you but could not...

Fuck the five stages of grieving. Fuck my bachelor's in psychology. Fuck my intellectualization of heaven and God and afterlife.
Mmmm. I feel better.

So my momma, Jingle, my best friend, died almost two months ago. Pancreatic cancer strikes fast and brutally. Most folks die within a 2 -6 months of diagnosis. Momma found out in February, had an unsuccessful surgery in March, decided against chemotherapy in April, and died in May after 19 days in an acute care hospice unit. She fought the good fight and humbled us all with her courage.
Since I have to wait 6 weeks to get into a grieving group, I thought I would just do the postmodern ...
