My Thoughts
empty
Wed, April 1, 2009 - 3:44 AMthe emptiness
with nothingness
relationships
with
no love
smiles
with no
heart
just to avoid
emptiness...

as you know
trying to fill with that of ingenuineness
expands the emptiness.. hope this is not a reflection of a state you ar ein right now. Hope this is a poem written to remind us of our true worth. Namaste Cathy You can PM me if you wish any time. I value our friendship. |

No this poem is not based on a state I am in...I often write things based on my experiences with others, not necessarily myself...most artist/poets will tell you, we write what we see/witness, not just about ourselves

From under the guillotine
Time isn't really there to be filled, it fills itself on automatic. It's up to us pretty much how it gets filled.
Time marches on towards one doom or another but when we are conscious of the doom's potential we mark its coming with either dread or happiness, joy that this is not the moment of our doom. You need to get into that type of mindset, just appreciate what you have in the here and now instead of pining for what you don't. nothing really bad is happening (I hope) you just feel that there's something missing. Your standards seem high - anyone can find a "love interest" (sic) if they don't have standards but if you have any kind of standards you'll be lonely more of the time. When you find someone though it'll be worth it. Just don't spend time waiting and live life to the ful instead. You don't need anyone else to complete you. |

This comment resonates with me..because often people seem to think my art or writing is autobiographical when it simply is not...i when it`s about the world..or the other people in it. We all jump to conclusions a little too easily, I think. It`s a good idea to point this out, I agree, Ro. |

i really like the empty these days.
i try to go there often in meditation. its the space in between the cells and that space is pure love and not pain. for people, in general, filling the void with something to help keep us sane - whatever strategy you use - is necessary most of the time. i find. |
