It sounded so innocent at first. Little did I know what it would do to both me and the hubby. Blow our own insulation in the attic? Sure, hubby says, we'll save a truck load of dough. And I get to wear my cute little construction-type boots and gloves. I'll look like one of the hot chicks from Tool Time. Fun, right? Hubby's in the attic blowing, I'm on the ... read more 
freshly sprayed popcorn ceiling, sheetrock replacing old wood paneling, pergo flooring to replace the green shag carpet. New crown and base molds, new doors and doorframes....sigh. Oh, and lots of outlets, including one at the ceiling so I can mount the tv/dvd player up high for watching and dancing with my FCBD videos! Thanks, honey!

here's the results from the previous demolition. Within a couple of weeks, this will be the workout/dance room, and through that new doorway is the new master bedroom.
