on any given day
if i close my eyes
and picture any one of your many many faces,
the gentle depth behind them,
or your dedication to humor...
i start to smile from the inside
so huge
that even if i try to trap it within
it falls out every time
it only makes sense that the direction of my laugh gets all disoriented;
it's celebrating
