My name isn’t really Danielle. It is supposed to be Danelle. My mother named me after my French grandfather, but since our last name is Scottish, she thought she would take the “i” out so I wouldn’t have a French first name and a Scottish last name… I know, it doesn’t make any sense to me either… After I was born, everyone started telling her that she had misspelled my name.
