2 year, 3 months and 5 days after my first dive, I've finally reached my 100th dive.
I can remember almost giving up during the pool session and vowing never to do it again. Now, I can't wait to get into the water.
Even if it means a 90 minute drive to the dive site, lugging a 26lb tank and 22lb in weights, a bumpy ride through the Heads, a bit of a swell getting back onto the boat, lugging all the gear back to the dive club, changing, packing the car, another 90 min drive then wash up...

Only 17 more hours before I head off to Kangaoo Island for a week's diving with my dive club.
The car is packed with 10 tanks, two sets of diving gear, 2 holdalls and an esky full of junk food for the 11 hours journey. There are 14 of us heading to Snellings Beach staying at a beach house.

Melbourne is now home for me, but from next year looks like I could be commuting on a regular basis across the big pond from July :-)
I love SF as it is so similar to Melbourne so hopefully I can get the best of both worlds and get the contract. And like Melbourne it's a great place for me to do my diving, motorbike riding, skiing, visiting wineries & flying.
Hopefully I'll get to meet up with some of you next year (make that later this year)
