I've gotten several texts and emails and such today.... going on about supporting the troops. There is a theme to all of them that goes something like this "wave your flag, and march in step shouting hooray for soldiers and the war or you're an unpatriotic lout." Its made me very angry. There is power in gratitude, and there is power in constant ingratitude. I've been watching people for a very long time, and seeing the way that things manifest in their lives and i am reminded again, lately, of a truth I've known for a while. People who are demonstrably thankful of the good things in their lives, tend to get more of them (good things) than people who aren't.
