If you know Roxanne, then you already know that she's an insanely talented and driven woman (with an emphasis on the insane part... :)
Ok, so she's not really crackers, but I've worked with her for several years now, and she continually amazes me with the dedication with which she applies herself to the art of dance and performance. Oftentimes I find myself wishing I had half of the drive Roxanne has... maybe I'd be practicing for 4 hours every day instead of 1 hour every other day. Seriously. On a personal note, I just wanted to say in public that Roxanne's hard work and dedication has truly been an inspiration to me. It's tough to rest on your laurels when you've got someone who constantly accomplishes the impossible! (and if you doubt that she can do it, come on out and hang with us for a bit... you'll see)

The band is shaping up beautifully and is working under the name "Wine and Alchemy". We're currently in the studio recording our first CD, "Turning of the Seasons" - a blend of "gyspy" and celtic influenced original pieces along with some traditionals. we have been blessed with fun and enthusiastic audiences so far, and i hope that will be the case in the weeks to come. and, rest assured, we will do our best to keep things as interesting and as entertaining as possible. :-)
pennsic was fabulous, of course, aside from the humidity you could cut with a knife and the fact i felt i was working harder during the event than i had been before hand.
