My wonderful Auntie Myrtle has just gone 70. At ASDA they can put photos on birthday cakes.

They refused to do this picture. When asked why - they said they didn't do pornographic, offensive or nude photos. I pointed out that this was not nude or pornographic. So it must be offensive. I then said that the only offensive thing was her smoking and the carbon emitting car. He still refused and said she was showing too much flesh. The wonderful artist Beryl Cook died earlier this year. Her funny larger than life characters and wonderful art style has been a great inspiration to me.

born 12th May 5 pm 6lb Totally gorgous little girl, strong as an ox with big feet and hands! Home birth was wonderful - had my music on - ACDC, Motorhead etc - all good relaxing stuff. Oil burner on, very chilled out. Can really recommend home births. Unfortunately, placenta stuck again and had to go to hospital in ambulance. Lost loads of blood - was almost having to have a transfusion. Had to have an epidural after hours of having extremely painful contractions t... read more 
As you know, I'm overdue a full week now but at least it's given me time to work on a new website to sell my artwork - so not all bad eh?!

Rozie is an enthusiatic, intelligent bright and fun, down to earth friend, who 's got a wonderful sense of humour, and is an inspiration as a bellydance mum! She's training hard with us, in Khalgani and i have high hopes for her! I love her sense of style, which is bold, creative, free-spirited and strong and that's reflected in her dance and art. She is so committed. She's doing good work for charity too,( Touaregs and other peoples of the Sahara etc) so support her, y'all ! ; ) Maureen xxxx
