Richard is totally lovely to dance with. There have been lots of times I didn't know if I felt like dancing, and then Richard here asks me for a waltz and it's just grand. This guy is a great addition to any ballroom, Irish, or folk music event. Fine Ceili dancer too, which I'm sure is influenced by his musical skills. He plays a woodwind (I think it's some sort of flute, but it might be something else like a tin whistle) wonderfully and contributes to any music or dance event with one or the another of his talents. Richard is genuinely sweet and kind and has wild fluffy hair.

Richard was the first person to say hello to me at FNW. He gave me the thought that perhaps not everyone at the dance was stranger wary.
I always love seeing him, even if we don't talk much. He usually manages to be cheery, and, in being cheery, cheers up those around him. Like me. Marvelous dancer. Very polite and kind, as well. How do I feel about Richard? I feel that he is bright, sweet, considerate, multi-talented, and just generally a great person. I wish he saw as many good things in himself as I do!
When I get to see him I always smile a bit more because his gentle compassion is very soothing to be around. I am sad that I don't get to spend more time with him due to distance and life-being-overbusy issues.
