about me
I am a graphic designer living in Hawaii in a hut on an organic permaculture garden. I love traveling and experiencing new things. Being inspired by the beauty around me. So far I have been to almost all 50 states a number of times and spent 6 months in Italy. I still need to make it to alaska and would go back to Italy in a heart beat! I speak italian. Or at least I have a survivors knowledge of the language since I just went there and learned by being around the people. Such a beautiful language! My heritage is mostly Italian. There is a city in Sicilia (Sicily) with my last name! My mom and I traveled there together. One of my favorite memeories is hiking to the top a volcano at night and watching it erupt with the full moon and stars it was magical! I lived for three years without running water and electricity when I was younger and spent whoel summers camping out, then I went to college, bacame a business women and gave it all up to move to Hawaii. I plan to make it to the big island of Hawaii and hike above the cloud layer and watch the sunrise! I also still need to swim with dolphins which is going to be difficult since I am a tottal chicken about swiming in deep ocean waters. Hopefully I can find somone to "hold my hand" out there. It is a big ocean and I am one small fish:) I also eventually plan to open a graphic design agency that specializes in humanitarian campains. I just started learning how to bellydance and try to go out dancing as often as possible. I design, make, and sell jewelry. I play the hammer dulcimer but alas I had to leave it on the mainland with my wonderful cat ( I miss her so much), my car, and most of my other wordly possesions. So I suppose this portrays at least a few facets of the Rubi jewel. How in the world are you supposed to end these things? signing out, rubistarr haha just joking...have fun!....k I love ya ba bye.
