**TAROT**,
REAL cartoons. It's been a coon's age since I've seen a classic Warner Brothers or Popeye - before they started cutting corners on the animation, or worrying about corrupting the tender young minds of the youth.

I could look them up online, but it's not quite the same as lounging about in my jammies on a Saturday morning watching the whole lineup, or getting home after school to a vast array of animated joy. Caught a Bullwinkle one late night recently. It still holds up. Some Flintstone... read more

The press repairman guy who shows up once in a while at my workplace with the deepest, broadest Northern British accent you ever heard. Can't understand a word he says, but he's a fantastic study source. Mrs. Porter and her unfailing affection and support.
Through the miracle of digital cable I have over a hundred TV channels available to me, yet on the rare occasions on which I actually want to watch some television, there's simply nothing on that looks appealing.

I find it astounding that anybody's willing to spend money to produce most of it. I suppose I could resort to On Demand and watch whatever I want, or use a DVR to catch the good stuff, but I think it's rather pathetic. I'm feeling nostalgic for the sort of competition that h... read more

Felt like turning to the folks in the booth next to us and wailing loudly and inarticulately at them for ten minutes so they could be as annoyed as I was.

(in What to wear to the Dickens fair!)
And, of course, the costume you make should be compatible with and reflect the character you play.

Re: Where is everyone???

Of course we could all just go back to FB and tell each other what we're eating or what TV show we're watching.

Rydell should really learn to form an opinion. He really sticks the shadows as everyone else shares the limelight. What's up with that Rydell?
Seriously, Rydell keeps us all on our toes. Even when he doesn't realize he's doing it. Erudite and quickwitted he is an assett to our community. Plus he has the most beautiful eyesbrows I've ever seen on a man. Just beautiful. May 5, 2006
Give 'em hell, Rydell !!

I admired Rydell for his style, grace and acting ability for years before I actually got to know him. When we did finally get to know each other after I joined the Other Books cast at Dickens, he made me feel like we'd been friends for years and treated me like an important member of the team even though I was a new kid. His talent as a performer and director never cease to inspire me, yet he is so unassuming. If I wasn't already older than he is, I could honestly say that I'd like to grow up to be like Rydell.
