Back in July '07, the editor of Stamper's Sampler Take Ten magazine came across my blog (ink-a-dink-a-doo.blogspot.com) and saw some tile coasters that I made for a cousin's wedding gift and asked me to submit a set for possible publication. I worked up a really cute design and packed up a box and sent it off to sunny California with high hopes of being chosen to be in the magazine. Months went by and I get an email from her asking me for my address so that they could send me a complimentary copy of the publication. My project was spot lighted in the Quick and Easy Gift section! I even made the Table of Contents!

In the paper craft world, having your creations published is a big deal. Mind you I didn't get paid, but I am honored that someone liked my work enough to want to put it out there to be an inspiration for others.

Pretty cool, eh?

Doesn't that sound like a whole lot of fun? The theme this month is PJ Party! I can't wait to go on Saturday night.
