I watched the entire clip on MSNBC. What you don't see here is the video taken just a few moments earlier where Palin, as Governor of Alaska, "pardons" one turkey and allows it to live. It makes it just that much more horific to watch as she subsequently does a casual interview while turkeys are being brutally massacred right behind her.
I would have to agree with the person who said this could quite possibly be the worst backdrop ever chosen by a politician for an interview. Reportedly someone asked her beforehand if she was comfortable with the background and she said "completely". Can you imagine someone with such judgement being a heartbeat away from the Presidency!!!??? |
