Elizabeth, also known as Sa'diyya, is a professional Belly Dance performer and instructor from Dallas, Texas. Sa'diyya has been studying and performing the beautiful art of Bellydance for almost 13 years. Sa'diyya's style is all her own! Audience members delight in her high energy, technically astonishing and soulful performances. Her diligent studying to constantly improve her creativity, technique, presentation and appearance has earned her the respect of her peers. Her natural ability and feeling combined with the persistence of honing her art form has created many performance opportunities around the nation. Along with ongoing appearances at the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Dallas and Fort Worth, like Byblos, Kasra and Giovanni's, she is regularly engaged at private functions like weddings, holiday and theme parties, bachelorette parties, cultural festivals and more. With thousands of performances under her belt, she is one of the most experienced and professional bellydancers in Texas. Her extensive knowledge of Middle Eastern cultures and their dances has made her a popular dancer among the local Middle Eastern communities. Along with owning her businesses: her school, the North Texas School of World Dance and her entertainment agency, "Art of Belly Dance by Sa'diyya", Sa'diyya directs three award-winning performance companies, ranging from student to professional levels. She choreographs, directs and produces several staged shows a year with a cast of over 30 performers, and all the while maintains a full local and national performance schedule at the best venues and with the best producers around. Sa'diyya has won many national awards including Belly Dancer of the Year 2003 and 2007 First Place Winner at The Heart of Texas Belly Dance Contest. She can be seen in several invitational performances of the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance's recent DVD productions, "Belly Dance Revolution" and "Belly Dance-O-Rama 2." Sa'diyya is also a featured performer in Bahaia's production of "Cairo Heat Wave," as well as being a featured dancer in Cheeky Girls productions of "By Dancers For Dancers Vol.2" and the soon to be released "By Dancers For Dancers Vol.6."

My Testimonials

March 24, 2007
Sa'diyya is one of the most amazing dancers and teachers that I've ever encountered. I will be lucky if I manage in this lifetime to capture one-tenth of the skill, beauty, and passion in the dance that this lady has. I am grateful for the opportunity to study with her and continue to hope that if I stand close enough to her that some of her fairy dust will shimmy off onto me. :-)

Sa'diyya is a "must" as a teacher. Besides being a lovely, beautiful woman, she is a wealth of knowledge! I don't know how someone so young can be so talented and know so much about Middle Eastern Dance, but Sa'diyya does. I recommend her whole-heartedly as an instructor, choreographer, and a performer. She is my favorite belly dancer of all time.

Sa'Diyya is really amazing....I've had the priviledge to study with her and to perform Ethnic Fusion with her. I've also performed her Raks Sharki choreographies, which are technically challenging while being visually stunning.

After years of taking workshops with many top instructors/performers, I've come to appreciate her avid study of Middle Eastern dancing and her ability to pour information back to others in her own "mish-mash workshops." I've gained a lot of tips and information from her that I continue to use.

Beyond all those accolades, Sa'Diyya is very kind and honest. She has a great smile and a fun sense of humor. I'm thankful for the time I've had getting to know her, and I hope to be able to fit in yet just a few more classes/workshops with her again.

Thank you Sa'diyya, you are a true friend! You have been there for me when I really needed someone, to listen, advise and tell me enouth is enough! I only hope our friendship continues to grow and that it remains a two way street! It is a pleasure to have a friend who sticks to their values and morals! GOD BLESS YOU! Love Tyra
