I am super excited about my new studio. As a dear friend said, one door closes and another opens. I really liked THRIVE and Peggy's one neato lady, but I'm also thrilled to venture out on my own. I love going up to Chicago for bellydance stuff. This past weekend I went up for Shoshanna's workshop and show. Chellcy brought her in from Cali, what a treat! Shoshanna taught some 9/8, some 4 yard veil, and some drum solo. And the show was fun too. I performed my new fusion piece with stool and 3 veils, and the floor was a little slippery so the stool wasn't cooperating super-well, but it worked out ok.
