I have such a surreal life. The same day I found out I got onto the program at the most prestigious conference in my field (San Fran next January--w00t!), one of my friends calls me and says,

"So I got my TCStyle in the mail today."
"Yeah, is the article in there?"
"YEAH. And this woman I know is on the cover!"

"Um, whatnow?"

Surreal. There's no hiding now! This went out to everyone who subscribes to the local paper. I wonder if any of my econ students are going to bring this up when classes resume next week. Time will tell!
