I have Delilah to thank for meeting Sa'ida, true. If it weren't for our love of the dance prompting us to reach out everywhere we transfer to I don't know how long it would have taken for us to find each other. We would have, I know that, but we would have lost so much time....
Sa'ida is truly gifted, on many, many, levels: as a dancer, a costumer, a historian, as a human being, as a friend.....I watched her take her vision in Washington and build it into a network of hundreds-probably thousands, as each one touched another-who touched another.... Teaching, dancing, being a part of the SCA, you name it. She is a force of nature-with the vision and skills to create something fantastic.
I miss her...after Washington our spouses tours of duty took us in other directions: Italy, Hawaii, Florida, Virginia....but, thank goodness, there is no place on earth so far away we can't keep in touch.
Thank you my sistah for all the good times and the ones to come!! <zaghareet>
