Tadhg said it right when it comes to Daniel. "He is a natural born leader, and COMMANDS RESPECT without demanding it". I have know Daniel for many years now and I have never meet anyone else that has a drive and passion for Irish History (a field in which he is very wise and knowledgeable in) like he does. He also has the gift of Blarney and that GOOD OLD IRISH CHARM. He is one of the kindness and most caring friends and guy could have. I am truly lucky and proud to call him my friend.

After reading the testimony Daniel wrote about me, for most people I would write that off as flattery. But coming from Daniel I know these are his true feelings, for he is a true person. He is one of the very few people that I have met and like instantly. He possesses the three gifts of ancient heroes, wisdom, beauty (today we would say "handsome") and charm. But for all this he is not arrogant in any way and is a lift to the most down trodden spirits.
I have no doubt that all his endeavors will be successful, because he is a natural leader, and commands respect without demanding it. His vision is unwavering when it comes to the direction of his guild and historical accuracy. Anyone under his command can count themselves lucky.
Though we have not spent much time together we are brothers in the Red Hand, an ideal that he and I hold highly. He was correct when he said I would stand with him through the best and the worst of times. Shoulder to shoulder, swords in hand, bloodied, bruised and banner flying high.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I agree with Conn's words wholeheartedly.
I have known Daniel for many years now myself, and I have SO much respect and admiration for him. While we both love to research all things Irish, he retains all that he reads in a way that amazes me. I know without a single doubt in my mind that with Daniel's love of Irish history, and drive, and passion for the subject, he will make an absolute success of his guild: Saint Columcilles - The Warriors of the Red Hand. Joe and I are glad to be as much of a part of the guild as we can. <img src="
