Sam went to high school with me.
On the first day of school, he asked if he could borrow a few bucks for some lunch. I lent him the money. The next day I see him with a bag of M&Ms. I ask him if I can have one and he refuses. I'm pretty sure that he hates when I tell people that story because he comes off as the selfish bastard that he is. Anyhow, Sam is a pretty cool dude and a good friend. I been freakin out about the latest uprisings in Tibet. If you've seen any of the footage smuggled out, or the film Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion, you have some idea. Scene opens in Steamboat Springs (where I was born) in the winter… emerging from an alley is a guy on a unicycle with someone else on his shoulders. The road is covered in snow; they’re playing like its summer. They keep stopping and starting moving again, like a trick.
