I met Samantha for the first time at my 30th birthday party and we've been buddies ever since...she's one of those folks that's just a pleasure to be around and has one of the best laughs ever. Keep on laughing Sam!

Sam's one of those intensely annoying people who can do everything. I've never asked her if she can play an instrument, but she probably when to Julliard. She can probably juggle. There's a good chance she has her scuba cert as well and her hot air ballooning licence. Might even speak Swahili. But the best thing about Sam, is that she'd do it all with such grace and leave you breathless. Sam's an adventure and I'm glad I'm onboard.

One could go an entire lifetime and never know such a wonderful girl as Samantha. One could travel this vast terrain, its deserts and oceans, from valley to rocky shore and never glimpse such a beauty as I awake to every single morning. She is kind and gentle; accepting of others and firmly herself. She is a ferocious competitor and intuitive; however, ridiculously fare, just and honest; to the extent that she often hurts herself out of compassion for others. She is incredibly sensitive to both emotional and tactile sensations and often endearing with her level of perception and awareness.

Samantha lives in a different realm; a nicer, more moral ideal sphere, where everyone takes care of each other instinctively and the concept of self is so conical as to have no disparity between friend and foe. She listens well and wraps her emotional self around all with no bias. She is thoughtful, considerate, passionate, and has the adore of a child for even the most mundane.

She is an incredibly radiant and physically stunning woman. Her ability to clothe and transform herself daily, combined with her natural beauty and manner, are a thing to behold. I could look upon her each and every day and never become jaded with the complexities of her imagination and visual intimacies.

Samantha is kind to children and animals (even me). She is opinionated, independent and knows want she wants. She has chosen friends wisely and is a good judge of character. She is rarely jealous of others and pretty when she’s asleep. She has a wonderful balance between material objects and a vision of a simplistic lifestyle.

She is exceptionally courageous and present, a result of much endured in a life still so young. All done without the sullen compromise of bitterness, nor excuse; I admire her strength.

My favorite Sam is her laugh, her smile, her “poutee” face, how she giggles and can’t stop. How she makes noises like a baby dinosaur and loves to be cuddled. How she lights up around friends and hugs everyone in the room with everything she has, as if they might not ever meet again. My favorite Sam is someone I love so dearly; someone I’m still meeting.

There will only ever be one most precious tulip and the privilege has always been mine.
