Samira is a light of wonderfulness. she oozes deliciousness, and she rocks the microphone! Our community owes her a huge debt of gratitude for all she's done... I mean what would we do without our monthly haflas and yearly Intensive?! We'd surely die, I tell's ya. :} Samira RULEZ!

There really is something to be said about following your heart. I can't even begin to express my gratitude and amazement at all the people who have chosen to participate in the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive this year. Last year at this time I had 13 people signed up for the full package. This year I have over 100! My heart is touched and my excitement is profound!!

Well, the countless hours in line, a little bit of luck, and my prayers to the ticket goddess paid off. We landed 4 tickets to the Las Vegas Friday night show!!! I'M TAKING MY DAUGHTER TO HANNAH MONTANA!!! My whole entire Christmas is now complete!!!

Because all the Elvis impersonators who have quoted me for a one hour Meet-n-greet/performance on a Saturday night are making a ridiculous amount of money!! Holy cow!! Seriously, I had one guy quote me $700!!! So I think I'll start attaching all those beads and sequins to a white jumpsuit instead. Anyone know where to find a good wig? Hahahahahah. I'm already knee-deep in preparations for the 2008 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive. OMG, I only have 10 months to go!!! Aaaaaaah. LOL. Seriously, this year is going to be a RIOT!!!

The venue has moved to The Palace Station Hotel & Casino. Yes, the very place that OJ Simpson was arrested. We can't guarantee that you'll see OJ, but we can promise you that you will have a wonderful time at this event!!
