This decorum of prose, split into phonetic pieces.
Tally’s these thoughts, and allows them to recess.
Into mellow metaphorical multitude of muse.
Allegorically dreaming, in spurts and spasmic hues.

Wondering in context, drifting on contours.
Walking through windows, gazing through side doors.
Only to end up back in the same place,
Awake in the morning back in the same race.

The chocolate seems to taste somewhat better than the coffee.
And the movement of the water seems to ease the memory.

It’s a challenge of the mind to notice the difference.
In daily routine and the need to reference.
The mysteries that loom to things that are known.
For a field of security beyond the skin and bone.

It’s somewhat of survival, somewhat of excitement.
It can even be denial, in the midst of enticement.
All in a spectrum, taller than it is wide.
Nothing less, nothing more, just one helluva ride.
