Few people maintain a presence that sticks with you until after they have parted. One measley day spent with a lemur such as this and you find yourself laughing about random somethings at random times. One measley day spent pondering evolution over Gelato, and you will be willing to fly halfway across the country again on some stuffy airplane listening to Grandma Moses talk not only about her entire life story, but the lives of all eight of her lovely children, just for another day of frolicking fun. I remember so many hands that fit mine, hearts bound out together in great darkness. We moved like the jaguar, and sometimes we soared with the eagles, rising beyond horizons, aflame.
