Dennis fills my head with sparkles and knows all the right things to say. He knows how to lure my monkey out of its tree and give it a quaalude; he knows the exact right song to put in my ear when I'm sad.
Dennis was hatched out of a witch's egg and was doomed to fly high. That's why the rest of us don't always understand him and why he gets lonely.
Dennis doesn't really get how much we love him.

Dennis is the kind of guy who, if you were sinking in quicksand and waving your arms and yelling "Help help! I'm sinking in quicksand!" and generally, you know, about to die, Dennis would walk over really slowly and then look down on you and shake his head and patiently explain that it wasn't quicksand you were sinking in. He would tell you the Native American name for whatever it was, and who the first white people were who sunk in it, and how the not-quicksand had helped touch off a minor range battle between warring land barons in the 1890s before the federal government intervened with thousands of hired Pinkerton goons. Then he would make fun of you for thinking it was quicksand some more.

Oh, he would also pull you out of that stuff, because that's what kind of guy Dennis is.

dennis is free, loving, smart and incredibly talented. he knows how to travel the world with no paper currency and will open your mind to love you cannot fathom. I am lucky, blessed and alive knowing he is in my life.

Once a lonely unloved ubergeek, this man has blossomed into one of the most amazingly diversified, loving, and creative souls with whom i've had the pleasure to share space in the whirrrled. There whether i've needed him or not, a friend even after explosive Leonine solar flare-ups have erupted from mine aura, he continually trumps my chaotic adventures with humor, wit, and the magick drive to take it all furthur and funnier. Simply put, i love him as i've loved few men... but that's another story.
