about me
A darkly sticky mirror--energy vitae--undulate pendulum--light in opposition--dripping heart--snakes engorged--writhing peace--hopeful spark--love in love--misty evening coffee--gaudy laughter--Crone in movement--subsequent opinions--wolf-friend.

Belly Dancing has become a very important activity in life. It is not even an aspect anymore--its it is a full-bodied avatar.
I have been studying Raqs Gothique for almost a year now, and taking steps into the circle of Tribal fusion and ATS. I costume--for myself, and for my friends (who are all on a budget :) and anyone else who asks of me. I rarely make anymore that isn't for bellydancing; skirts, bras, head and hair pieces, belts, chainmaile jewelry, sleeves.

Modern fusion Belly Dancing is my extreme outlet for creativity. It allows me flexibility to experiment with fabric, findings, movement, and music. I find the darker influences of Gothic music and style combined with the possitive projective energy of Belly Dance to be a complimentary juxtaposition to my self.

I am giddy and wild; I laugh too much; I bounce or shimmy or slither when I want too.

I love to sew for other people, and post to my gallery photos of each new creation. I hope Sanguine Moon Designs to continue to grow as I move into custom design pieces for a wide range of people. I especially love making accessories, and revel in creating chainmaile, hair pieces, and utilizing unique findngs for one-of-a-kind items. Please visit my photos (they update pretty frequently), and feel free to contact me with questions or ideas.

....in my present darkness....

~ Suddenly my Wednesday night has become quite free.

The Gothic Ball hosted by the USM Pagan Student Association has been cancelled last minute, therefore Sanguine and Selcouth will not be performing.

As Sel has said in her own words, we are "never scheduling a performance during a Mercury retrograde AGAIN!"

However, this dark dulcet duo will be celebrating their UN-Birthdays at Plague on Friday, March 7th 2008. They'll be manic with desire to dance, storming the floor with experim... read more

Hey!
So I have a new home now. Getting settled, still stuff to do, old apartment to clean, but that's all managable.
We have an open dinning room (once the last boxes are taken care of), and an open space leading into the livingroom, which ended up being LESS crouded then before I moved in. And what does that mean.....?

PRACTICE!

I haven't practiced at home in FOREVER. I haven't even been able to get to class for the past two weeks, and its killing me. I was just thinking this mornin... read more

So, Mass.Morgue rocked for me! I had so much fun, the crowd was appreciative (if not a little creeped out), and I had a great time. I am very very glad that I went, and I really hope I can book more gigs in Cambridge for the future.
I have uploaded a couple photos that one of the ladies took, the one attached is definitely my favorite. There was also a pro photographer there, so I should be getting some high-quality images in the next couple of weeks.

Again, made my own costume. The make-... read more

A photo of the wire work for Kassandra's batfaery wings. The paint isn't done yet, this is just the base. I will be posting the finished project photo once it's been completed.

I LOVE making faery wings. They are sooooooooo fun to do!
