Yes, it’s definite, I’m going to sea, and I’m bummed because I have to leave my family here in California since the CGC Forward is homeported in Portsmouth Virginia. It sucks since I really have some home issues with my son which I’m needed here. I’ll try to make the best of it though, especially since I can make YNC off the ship, and hopefully retire as a CWO in a few years.

I’m also going to miss Kevin terribly since we won’t have much time as husband and wife before I head out. I’m also going to have to sell my horse (tough, tough decision), but I just can’t be there for Seeker like I want to be, he deserve more than that. Most of all I’m going to miss my boys, Skyler and Justin. Those two are my joy, and they brings smiles to my face every single day. I love them so much. And I’m going to miss my dear friends, I love you all so much.

So if you have time, let’s do something fun before I leave... the crazier the better.
