This is how I spent my Saturday evening. I was going to go to that big party downtown with the performance group Mutaytion but I decided to spend time changing out the handles on the cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms.... I am a happy girl today. I thinks my efforts were quite productive! Tons to write about later tonight. I am off to poi in a little while though!

The life in my yard reminds me that year after year the cycles of nature continue. The little shoots of green push through the dirt, sprouting and blooming, growing and changing. Every time it happens the picture is never the same. There is a maturity there that I did not see the year before.

I feel it is like my life now. My body is changing and maturing like the azaleas in my back yard. It is a challenge sometimes to deal with what I see or how I feel.
