I've been chased by lions and an elephant tried to have sex with my car.
When I was in preschool the teachers said my skirts were too short and once made me wear the ugly shorts they saved for the kids who peed themselves. Around the same time, I "broke up" with my "boyfriend" -- the only boy in our happy circle of duck-duck goose who could read -- because my best friend liked him too, and she was more important... For the most part, things remain the same.
