about me
I love to dance.
I love bellydance and bellydancers, and I love teaching bellydance too. I love to dress up in crazy costumes and have fun. I love nerds, geeks, and anyone who chooses to live their lives with unironic enthusiasm, especially when this comes at the expense of being "cool" in a conventional sense. I love animals and nature. I love sleeping. I love my family, my fiancee, and all of my friends. I love bizarre music with incomprehensible lyrics, drawings of fantastic monsters, and stories with neurotic characters. I love coffee. I have a website. www.sarabeaman.com Enough about me. What about you?

Re: Is Appearance a Factor?
(in Tribal Bellydance)
I agree with Diana; to me grooming, costume and makeup are probably the most important factor in terms of a dancer's appearance. You have to look like you put effort into this sort of thing.
I really don't care what size someone is and it would ... read more discussion post on Fri, August 15, 2008 - 5:57 AM
Re: Question to professionals: Weight
(in The Biz of Belly Dance)
Some people are healthy when they are skinny! Other people have to do unhealthy things to get there. Just listen to your body and try to get to the point where you feel great from the inside out.
You should never feel guilty for making healthy ch... read more discussion post on Fri, August 15, 2008 - 5:44 AM
