Joy and i have both been traveling for about 6 years. We met a coulpla years before that. I have never met anyone with such BIG BIG grace even in the most chalenging of hard times. I LOVE this woman. She is one of my most dear friends. We have each grown SO very much in these years.
I'm always amazed at her ever expanding selfspirit as well as her healing and musical skills. Anyone blessed by her company and an open heart is in for a sacred experience...and thats the key ive learnt from Joy...to be able to recieve blessings of love and healing, we MUST have an open heart and a willingness to recieve. She's got love and energy to share and knows that her healing gifts are devine. I'm So glad Joy is on my team...were stronger for it. i love you Joy.
Joy and i share many things in common, some lifepassions, dear friends, and inclination to heal...but Joy puts a fenominal twist on it all...with inspiring grace and poise she gently changes the world as she dances through. Dance On. XOXOXO

Joy is a wonderful soul, her spirit is a true reflection of her name - joyful! When we met, I felt an instant connection. This woman is a powerful healer and anyone would be blessed indeed to have such a very special friend.
Blessings to you beautiful Goddess!

Joy is many positive things, including some contrasting things. In that context, I decided to do a crayon drawing of her, in which the bright and dark sides are integrated. I also like the way Joy's hair and shell necklace intermingle in this crayon picture which at the time of writing this testimonial was on page 1 of Joy's photos in her Tribe profile.

about me

To love and be loved is most important in this life. I believe in the immanance of divine love ... we are all god / goddess ... we experience our divine selves by fully experiencing pleasure within the world in our bodies and senses... as I died and came back to life I came into the service of the Goddess as a lover and healer. I moonifest the Goddess in physical form, sending out ten thousand rays of light, the vibrations of my didj awakening Kundalini.
These days I live in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which is truly a magical world though really a new place for me. I've got wanderlust, and always love to be in new places. I choose to moon-ifest love in fullness with my head, heart, and yoni and establish sacred partnership.
I am a nature girl and am found often in flowery meadows surrounded by fluttering butterflies, beaches, mountaintops, and hot springs, or off on a lonely island promontory taking didj lessons from the whales. I love to go out and have fun, but I have an introspective and geeky side as well.
Playing, making, teaching and recording didgeridoo is a passion for me... as is healing work in warm water (watsu, waterdance)... and dance in many forms.
I came to Denver to see my friend Greg, who has been supporting my photography. We found him on the floor with a brain hemorrhage... he is still in intensive care. I spent most of Easter weekend in the hospital. Please send your prayers and support. I need to head home... Valley people with a spare shoulder would be most helpful.

They also filmed in Saguache, our county seat. It's the closest "big" town to where I live. I've met everyone in the video...

Now I'm getting settled in… it feels so much like home, more the
outer moonifestation of my dream of home than any place I've ever
lived. My home's southwestern style evokes my Oma's memory… she and
Opa lived down in Santa Fe for a number of years. I guess living free
range for so long made my need for a home so much more acute... and so
much more fulfilling when I found such a nice place. My heart is
opening here in a beautiful way… just living here, being here, is my
beautywal...

Digging through the basement of my life, those storage units...
somewhere down in there was a statue of Ganesh, the Elephant God,
Remover of Obstacles. I stuck him up on my dashboard... Something
happened, a shift in the energy... and BOOM! Two of my storage units
were emptied, about half the stuff gotten rid of somehow, the
Didjmobile fully loaded... and off I went to be a mountain girl again!
I took the southerly route as the long winter was still burying
Oregon, Idaho, and Wyoming...

And then came the rain...
They said on the radio that if they named winter storms like hurricanes, we'd be on Zach and Zelda. The winds have, in fact, been up to hurricane force! The skies began weeping nonstop, and the inward time began in earnest. My wild child energy subsided, and I took rest between my classes, sitting and doing needlepoint.
Couchsurfing.com is a wonderful website indeed, and a butt-saver in times like these! A charming 50-something couple in Glen Ellen took m...
