We finally have two projects up, as well as new animal pages and photos scattered about. The site is getting tweaked at least once a week right now and hopefully that will continue. Check it out! This is just to note that I won't be mirroring my posts here any more, it's just tedious and there is no reason. While there are some differences in the membership of my blogs and groups on LiveJournal and MySpace, everyone here except for one of you is on one or the other now. Obviously, I mean The Sarah Connor Chronicles pilot which someone managed to grab for me. I figured I should "give it a chance" as a few people have told me I should do. So I have. Has my life changed? Have I realized the wrongs of judging a show before seeing it based on the talentless choice of a writer and primary actor? Uh, no, actually. All my hatred for this is more than justified. In fact, to some extent it is worse than I anticipated! So, the skinny on the skinny: OMFGS! Lena Headey IS sickeningly skinny...far more so than any of the shots from this I have seen. She actually looks far worse than the stills. Watching her is painful, seeing that they tried to replicate the scarring from T2 is laughable as there is no way to figure out what correlates as that part of her body compared to Hamilton. The only positive thing is that I am currently feeling positively She Hulkish by comparison. The acting: Well, I never just hated the casting of Headey JUST because of her lack of muscle, I've disliked her as an actress for awhile. She's always wooden and unconvincing. She remains so here. She sounds like she's reading her lines as always, just this time in a poor attempt at an accent. Thomas Dekker plays it whiny through the whole thing, he's sullen and spoiled. Obviously, the product of a privileged suburban upbringing. *rolls eyes* He's weak and pathetic. As the sigoth here said "Obviously the Terminator can't actually be out to get him, he obviously isn't important to the current future, they must just have been in the way." Summer Glau, however, is wonderful but looks like she's having too much fun. Even with letting that slip through and the really horrible lines she has to spout, she seriously makes everyone else look bad. The guy who plays the bad Terminator is just trying far to hard. I wonder if that will be the last of his model or not. The script: SUCKS, just simply sucks. There isn't anything here. Josh Friedman who is well known by many for having done the worst War of the Worlds script ever shows he hasn't learned a damn thing about how humans interact in particular situations at all. He obviously never paid much attention to the story lines of the first two Terminator movies either. The fact that he can't figure out WHEN T2 happened is just one thing. He doesn't know the characters at all. It's hard to cover all the bad here. But a few key points that hit me: Not only are Sarah and John inexplicitly still in the US (when they have all these contacts south of the border and they know the Feds are after them) and not only is she working as a waitress (when even if she wasn't known as having done in the past, it's a job that tends to get you found in a small town), but she uses Sarah and John REESE as an "alias." IN TWO LOCATIONS IN A ROW! Okay, Friedman does figure that the twice in a row thing is a bad idea...but he also thinks Sarah would DO THAT! Glau's Terminator notes that it was stupid (and is met with a wooden "go to hell). BUT she doesn't note that using the name of a known associate who Sarah has claimed is the father of her child to the shrink that met them both is PROFOUNDLY stupid. Uh, btw, so is keeping the same first names, just in case you plan to go on the run, this is important to know. Certainly, both Sarah and John are common enough names, but all it takes is one trip over that mother and son combination to get a determined investigator to take a look. This show is bad, not just as a bad follow up to a wonderful two movies (after all, we already got that with T3), but just as a show in general. I do not think that it would have been picked up without the hope that the Terminator audience is set to watch it, because it really is just that bad. It's not even current CW quality and that's REALLY bad! It might be SciFi Original Series quality, but they sometimes seem to be doing better than that lately (I mean, I really dislike BSG, but it doesn't suck nearly as bad as this). I seriously wonder about every single person who has claimed to have seen it and loved it. I mean, I know they can't all be FOX plants, but there's something wrong here. It is seriously just worse than I even anticipated although, well, I should have knowing it was Friedman. I'm tapped out. I can't think about this anymore and I need to go work out then bake for our feast tomorrow (never let it be said I'm not multi-faceted!).

This hasn't even made it to the main Terminator Files page, but I found it first in their forum http://www.terminatorfiles.net/forum which, btw, I have never joined because it is an endless source of headaches and would be far too irritating. "300's Lena Heady plays Sarah Connor, and said she had been afraid of facing the fans, knowing she was stepping into some big shoes with this character. She joked that her plans to get through the action-packed series involve "napping and steroids." " It also royally pisses me off. But it makes her look so profoundly bad, so profoundly idiotic that it more makes me laugh. That she is basically accusing Linda Hamilton of taking steroids because she herself is too fucking lazy to work out hard is potentially infuriating. Except that it actually really only DOES show that she is a lazy twit. But the thing that brings me glee, to no end is that SHE'S AFRAID OF US!! And she should be. After all, any real Sarah Connor fan could bust her ass without breaking a sweat! But, there are so few of us that are speaking out against this that I can find. Uh, and most of us are HERE, in some form of this grouping. There have been a few that have grumbled then done the "oh, but I'll give her a chance" bullshit....some of them vacated our circle with the recent spamming (btw, funny that the MySpace site meant to update on this show HASN'T UPDATED ON THIS SHOW!). Where ARE these other fans? I figure if she's reacting like this there must be more of us still! That those women who were so inspired as noted in Real Knockouts STILL exist! I want to find them! I want to dance a dance of power with them! I want to invite them to join the Sarah Connor Charm School! Which makes me think that if any of you do know others, who are on MySpace, LiveJournal or Tribe or might be willing to join, PLEASE do invite them!

In other words, they're making her go to the gym but she's going to do as little as fucking possible. Sickest bit is the the following "Lena, your so hot" shit. Especially as she never looked worse than she does with that horrible 80s hairstyle (why does she have an 80s hairstyle if this is '99?). And sorry, scarecrows are NOT sexy! *pukes* The rewrites/shoots of the school stuff is not surprising, it's the way the industry always reacts. But note, it ONLY matters when it's fresh. No one involved apparently was concerned with the fact that they're setting this in 1999 and maybe that alone might be a bit upsetting to some folks. Oh, wait. I forgot, in today's television the word "depth" means "whining." LOT's of fucking whining. SERIOUSLY stupid stuff that is spread through every mention of the damn show. One that it's 1999 and that this makes it TWO years after T2....fuck no! Get with the program! Judgment day would have been in 1997, yes...but the movie took place THREE YEARS EARLIER in 1994. John was 10, not 13! Okay, the actor was 12 and turned 13, but, the CHARACTER was 10. His voice just changed early. How the fuck can people supposedly continuing this shit NOT GET THIS!!!!! Such things are also the ONLY canon we should worry about. That is things that in the the NORMAL time line. John was born at a particular time. HOWEVER, worrying about fitting this in with T3 which is best forgotten and even the idiot making this, who himself can't get the fucking normal timeline dates right, SAYS FORGET T3. So shut up about "how does this fit with T3?" already!!!! It doesn't and it's the one fucking thing that is NOT IMPORTANT! Seriously, we're talking time travel here, just accept that not only is there a possibility for a different future than in T3, the future show in T3 was far too stupid to even bother ever thinking about again!

She's a boxer like that twit who was on Survivor is a boxer.....it's spelled M O D E L. Tough?! Then I'm a T-800. ROFLMAOUIP!

Or do others who post feeds notice that new stuff, and by "new" I am talking a week or two apparently, stuff doens't show up here unless you reconfigure the feed module? I noticed this happened when I decided to go "show titles only" and when I noticed that since doing that a more recent post wasn't showing I switched it back and it showed right up. Rather takes away from the whole point of having a feed.

Are we surprised?
