I have so much stuff to do and only 2 weeks to get it all done! I'm getting so nervous about everything that I can barely sleep! I guess I'm having "pre-wedding jitters" or something :-P anyway, I won't be logging into Tribe so much till after the wedding. I won't have time till then :-/

So, Josh is getting all his stuff together to be moving out of SF by the end of April and then he's gonna come back here to Colombia to "pick me up" and help me travel with my kitties, and then we're gonna get married in May!!! YAY!!! OMG!!! I'm so excited!!! I've been all happy ang giggly all day!!! We're hoping to get married on May 3rd, but all we know for sure is that it'll be in May! OMG!... I've got so much stuff to do and get ready now, and I only have like 4 weeks till Josh gets here!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY!!! :-D

Seeing how in over 23 weeks since we aggressively began our search for a place to live in SF and nothing, not even a room in shared housing came up, we have decided to focus now on going to Peterborough near Josh's family. looks nice, eh? I feel a lot better about everything now! :-)

I feel like I'm being kicked out of SF...

...before even getting there :-/ it's almost Easter, and we had hoped for me to be there by then, but we still have not been able to find ANYTHING in SF. We still have no place for us to live in, and without that, I'm still "stuck" here away from Josh :-( it seems like there's nothing available, and I feel like puking everytime I read those craigslist posts from companies that make it impossible to move in anywhere! I'm sad. I'm frustated. But most of all I miss my sweet Josh!!! the more time passes by the less and less I wanna move to SF. I'm already sick and tired of SF, and I haven't even gotten there :-/

um... I just tried to reply to a friends blog who has a premium account and I got this message.... "You have insufficient privileges to take this action" (WTF???) well, that really sucks! does this mean I have to get a premium account, too, now? and, what?... if for some reason I don't/can't pay the fee again my account will get deleted and I'll be "Unsubscribed" in all my posts??? no thanks!!!

I already miss him soooooo much!!!! ok... update! Josh is on his way back to SF right now after being here for 15 days with me. We had our last interview at the U.S. Embassy about my visa a week ago, and my visa got approved!!! YAY!!! FINALLY!!! :-D so... now we really need an apartment in SF ASAP!... so I can finally move there and be with me sweet Josh for good! :-)

ok... so as some of you may know, Josh and I have been going through a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong immigration process trying to get me to SF so we can finally be together. Well... just as we were about to give up and we started organizing things so Josh would move down here to Colombia to be with me, we got a call from the US Embassy here saying our case had gotten approved! but since it took sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freakin' long for them to get back to us, we have to re-new ALL of the documentation that was previousely handed in because it all expires after a year. anyway, since we were planning on Josh to move here when I got the call (Oct.2) , when Josh's lease came up he moved out (Oct.1)... and now we are in DESPERATE need of ANYTHING available in SF....... that will accept my 3 kitties! we've already got everything we need... except for a place for us to live in! We are looking for a studio or 1 Bdr apt, hopefully un the Mission District, but really... right know ANYTHING is fine!!!! or budget is upto $1500. PLEASE!!!! this is the LAST thing in our immigration process that's keeping us from being together!!! if anyone knows of ANYTHYING available please please please let us know!!!! thank you!!!

How many of you are on Facebook, too? Don't get me wrong, I love tribe, but I find that I'm spending most of my online time there, now. I don't think the groups are at all as fun/good there as they are here on tribe, yet, but the profile aplications are lots of fun! and I really like the photo albums there, too! also... EVERYONE I know in "real life" is there! almost all of my family is there... and even all my friends from PRESCHOOL through College are there too, and THAT'S what makes the difference for me. anyway... I found some of you there recently, and it got me thinking... how many more of you, my Tribe friends, are on facebook, too?

Bell's Palsy

"Bell's palsy (facial palsy) is characterised by facial drooping due to malfunction of the facial nerve (VII cranial nerve), which controls the muscles of the face. Named after Scottish anatomist Charles Bell, who first described it, Bell's palsy is the most common acute mononeuropathy (disease involving only one nerve), and is the most common cause of acute facial nerve paralysis. Bell’s palsy affects about 40,000 people in the United States every year. It affects approximately 1 person in 65 during a lifetime." I got this back in 1997, but I was very lucky and within a few months I was 100% back to normal. The neurologist who saw me at the time said it was rare for someone so young to get it (I was 20), and that I was lucky because he said that most people only get like 80% back to normal after a really long time. He also said it was mostly caused by stress, and that makes sense because when I got it, I'd been under a lot of stress the weeks before, and I'd gotten this nervous eye twich, too. He also said it was hereditary and that once you've had it you may get again, later. well... my dad got Bell's Palsy this past weekend. last week was a VERY stressfull one for him :-/ he's ok, and he's getting better now and has already started therapy for it. It's just that this has brought back to me everything I'd felt 8 years ago when I had it. He's been taking it a lot better than I did, though. I guess cuz he knew a lot about it from when it happened to me. I guess I'm worried now because I have a lot of very stressful things coming up, and I'm a bit scared it might triger another 'episode' :-/

I can't remember the last time I'd seen one. It was mid afternnon and the sky was very cloudy, and in between all the clouds was this gorgeous rainbow over the hills, it was very bright, and very clear... it was perfect!
