Happy New Year to those of you I haven't spoken to or seen in 2008! Which is most of you, because when Stephen and I flew back into San Diego on Tuesday, we managed to fall asleep that night and not wake up until 18 hours later...amazing what jet lag can do to you!! But now I'm back at work, and although not having managed to do one thing related to work yet, I DID manage to get our pictures from Thailand up on the web, replete with descriptions for each picture. It was a celebration of sorts, and what better way to adventure than climb a mountain with someone you love (and also happen to beat in bike races)...

The recipe:
1 year of adventures
1 mountain that's been aching to be climbed
2 crazy kids
2 trusty steeds
60 miles
9000+ feet of climbing
the will to climb Alpe d'Huez quality switchbacks
and a boatload of sass

what that gets you is one fantastic anniversary. DANG.

Hilarity ensued, as one can only imagine with a bunch of goofy dorks trampsing around SF in little sheep cotumes. And what better way to celebrate my birthday than bare my ass in front of 75,000 people...but are we really suprised that I got mostly naked in front of everyone?

And, I got kissed by a drunk hippie. As it happened, I could only imagine sully yelling "DIRTAY HIPPAY"...only in SF...
