2006 and the Birth of the Sinister Circuit
Roughly 10 years after my first forays on the web, the last week has seen the culmination of a LOT of ideas/concepts/endeavors that have been in my Mental Hopper for a year or so.In the mid-90's I established my first outpost on the web - www.sinistervisions.com - the place where I shucked-and-jived my graphic/web design/illustration services to the potential hirin' public.
Just about 10 years hence, www.sinistervisions.com, while still one serious powerhouse of a website, don't quite cover it.
This last decade, I've jumped into this here internet with both feet and joyously splashed around, making connections in the horror, Halloween, haunted attraction, gothic, industrial and dark art genres with wild abandon.
Further, I've made giant leaps in getting the types of people interested in this stuff to talk to each other, work together, and embark on on- and off-line endeavors to make the world a slightly darker and more spookily artistic place for us all.
To that end, and in the interest of letting SinisterVisions.com un-clench and go back to being an art/design site, I've launched the Sinister Circuit - www.everythingsinister.com - which kind of soft-launched in 2005 as all those Sinister[name].com sites you might've seen.
The Sinister Circuit, which (lord knows) I'm still figuring out, is my attempt to bring some kind of order to the chaos of my affiliations, involvements, endeavors and sponsorship of all things dark'n'spooky. Conventions, art shows, artists, haunters, Halloweenies - you name it. There's a lot of'em. And we're growing.
So visit www.everythingsinister.com if you're currently thinking "Who the hell is this clown, anyway?" and hopefully, you'll get a sense of who I am, my passion for this Thing We Call Spooky, and what I'm trying to do.
If you'd like to become a part of the Sinister Circuit, email me at savage@sinistervisions.com and let's talk about it.
Thank you and good night.
