it's an SCA thing

had a bellydance performance as part of an SCA demo at the county fair, it went a little like this.... sleep in till 11 am, double check on performance time & such at 12:30, learn I'm on stage first, bring music, didn't have any picked out, I've just been drilling my moves all week cause I thought I was improving to drummers. Holy shit! its 12:45, get in the shower, Ring, Ring! "there's no place to change on site, come in garb,also stop & get batteries somewhere" I put in music, start picking out 2 songs & rehearsing between toweling off, hunting down makeup & garb. Could of swore I left it all in a pile somewhere last night! Dammit 15 minutes till my ride shows up! Broke a strap on a dance shoe, thank god I found my gold sandals, pack everything but the kitchen sink, (If it's anything to do with the SCA, the weather can go either way) bolt out the door to where my ride's waiting & forgot the house keys! I have learned that you can't do anything in SCA ever without stopping at a lowes or a walmart, lucky for me my boyfriend was working at the Lowes store & gave me his keys. After the performance I asked my friends how I looked cause I blanked out & don't remember a step I took! Lord help me if I make it to an event!
