I gotta tell ya. Natasha is probably one of my very favorite hoopers to watch. She is so graceful and sensual and at the same time silly and fun. She is an inspiration to watch and her instuctional videos are the shiz-nizzle. Mad props for this beautiful hooper!

Hey.... I think I forgot to thank someone for all the TONS of help she gave me over the Carmine weekend. I feel terrible about it!!
Natasha was on it right away when I invited Carmine to OH. She immediately offered lodging and transportation for him. She agreed to tour and hoop at all three shows. She hosted the Saturday workshop and rehearsal in her home. To be honest, I do not know how I would have done this without her help! So this is my very big THANK YOU to Natasha of Pyrokinetika. She is a real team player, and not a whiner at all. (I think I would have whined had someone done this to me! <hehe>)
Anyways... Snakes Rising LUVS Natasha. We are forever indebted and at her service. (Besides the fact that we just plain love her bellydance, hooping and fire arts!!)

Natasha, I'm happy I met you and honored to be one of your students. You've been a motivational teacher, proven good at multi-tasking and encouragement. I'm looking forward to working with you in the future!

I don't know Natasha very well...just met her here, but I have a good feeling about her. She seems like a genuinely good person, and I hope to get to know her.

Ah, sweet Sayyida. My Erica. My Beauty. You have an energy about you that just... is. There is no way to describe it. I often leave you feeling inspired to learn more (even if Shells and I do tease you about being a golden child!). I consider myself lucky to have met you and to have you in my life!
Much love!

"Watchable, but not as great as I'd heard"
about me
Wow time for yet another re-write, huh? It's crazy how fast this section goes out of date.
I still live in Centerville, OH with my husband, two dogs and a cat.
I went to Wright State University. I am graduating next month (November) with a BA in History, but since I actually want to get a job with my degree, I am staying for a BS in Engineering Physics, hopefully followed by a Masters in Renewable Energy.
I work as a personal assistant for disable students at WSU. Best job ever.
I like to read.
I am obsessive about whatever hobby I have at the time.
I watch anime. Favorite movies: anything by Miyazaki, Grave of the Fireflies, Samurai X/ Rurouni Kenshin. Favorite series: Death Note, Claymore, Naruto, Blood+, Elfen Lied, Serial Experiments Lain
I like to do random dancing and sideshowy type stuff....Obviously.
I love the Song of Ice and Fire novels. They are the best fantasy written EVER. Period. I love the fact that there are no "good guys" and "bad guys," and that your favorite character may get killed or maimed. I hate George RR Martin for taking so freaking long to finish the fifth book that was supposed to be almost done already by the time he released the fourth, because they were originally going to be one book. Read about the series here. Seriously, do it. Then read the books. You won't regret it. Oh, but bring a box of tissues. And give it a hundred pages or two. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Song...re_and_ice and here www.amazon.com/Game-Thron...008-7920448
I have hooping tutorials on YouTube here.: www.youtube.com/user/natasha31683 . I also have an un-updated website listed below.
I am a non-smoking, non-drinking, vegetarian, and I like puppies.
Not enough? Write me, and I will tell ya anything you wanna know about me.

Hi all,
Tribe is still pretty glitchy, so I've been on facebook more than here lately. Feel free to add me: I'm Erica Edelman.

Hi all!
I finally got a video from an actual stage performance. It is from the show "Wet Dream" from the 2007 (yeah its been awhile) Cincinnati Fringe Festival.
Unfortunately the audio is a little off because I couldnt get it to rip off the DVD, so I just took the song from the show CD and tried to line it up to the vid as best as I could.
Constructive Crit always welcome.
Enjoy!

Wow, there are a huge amount of John McCain ads on tribe right now. Amusing, because most people on tribe I would assume are not voting for him, nor would they. Definitely more annoying than the Great Glam and Ilanio ads.
Also, if you haven't heard yet, Obama chose Joe Biden as his running mate.

I've been pretty much off tribe lately. Been busy with school and work and such. Speaking of school, I have had a new direction for the past couple months in that area. I have always known I wanted to pursue my education further after I got my BA in History (will be graduating in November, yay!) But have had trouble knowing exactly where to go. The current plan is quite a change from my usual direction: Wright State has started offerning an Alternative Energy Engineering graduate degree. Of ...

Well, I recently quit my Home Depot cashiering job, so now I am on the job hunt again. I do not want to work in retail again, so I am looking for something else. Most of my previous experience (besides retail) has been as a childcare provider / home organizer / cleaner for a family, but I am also open to any other type of job that isnt retail, and probably not restaraunt either.
Anyone knows of anything, let me know.
