Cantata Blog

The last movie to be Quigley Cantata Production was in 2004. Now, I am wiser and much more insane. In order to make this movie, I was hoping that everyone who reads this posting will send me their most off-the-wall still images. That's right. This film shall be composed entirely of YOUR still images. So, the way it works is you mail me your images. Once I have a nice handful of images, I shall write a script, cast the voice actors and then carry on like a regular production. Everyone that sends in their photos, shall get recognition in the credits.

Thanks,
Eric Sazer

about me
Well, lately, I have been a bit lost. Changing my name from Zamboni to Strong Not Wrong is a big deal. You ever change your name from Zamboni to Strong Not Wrong? It can make one feel lost. Not that being a Zamboni made me wrong not strong yet totally directed. But sometimes, I have no idea how to sign my name on checks and letters. I answer the phone not knowing who really has answered the phone. All I know is that I am strong not wrong (yet a bit lost).

Pray for the miniature Bible study group, standing no higher than 4' tall. The smallest member can fit in a thimble. Clean the inside. Sometimes, rushed seamstresses reach for the thimble unaware of his presence inside. The number of human nails severing his being is more than anybody could count. Why, asked the elder of the miniature Bible study group, climb into these thimbles with such potential for dreadful outcome. Because there's God, explains the smallest. He, the Lord, protects me. The members of the miniature Bible study group hemmed and hawed, bowing their heads to their fearless Leader: The Lord of all sizes.

It's all a matter of time before I get my spray-can of a car running again. The sides will ooze with colors coating the government walls with defeating messages. They'll crumble into the blue cheese dressing of their misery. The misunderstood will then rise, higher than any understood person has ever risen. Of course, they'll be this give and take where the misunderstood and the understood will have this mock war. In the end those that prefer to be misunderstood shall remain hidden under their cardboard barriers waiting for someone with a faster spray-can of a car to ride by.

The sad, sad road to cotton fields. It leaves me devoid of breeze. I stare at all the heat waves thinking they're water ghosts. Rooting me on. Sure, I could walk on but how far? How far before I reach the fields where you once were? Where you once sprouted.

There's a beach where only obese people go. I had befriended a woman years ago who was quite obese. She invited me to a party on this beach. Of course, I went but managed to be obstructed by the shadows of obesity. The woman who had invited me expressed greater concern for the appetizers than for any conversation. So, I mingled about hoping there would be more to it than this eating...bowling, laughter, wading in the tides, a spelling bee contest. Nothing of the sort. What a disappointment.

If I could outline the essence surrounding my dread, I wouldn't leave the writing tablet for a very long time. Claudia Zollio would be long dead. The knees supporting Shaps will have given out while stirring his fiber concoctions. So instead of outlining the essence of my dread, I shall lock myself inside an aluminum chamber and scream at the top of my lungs. I heard somewhere this method moves energy quicker than outlining.

For hours I wandered around Kingston looking for Claudia Zollio. Neither the birds nor the ghetto folks knew who she was. I feared she may have been a hallucination. As I mulled this over an egg sandwich, she entered, dressed for a bank opening. We locked eyes for several seconds but then shifted her attention onto the waitress filling her metallic mug with coffee. "Black, please." She took several sips of the coffee, then laid the dollar bill on the counter only to rush off into a Buick. The buick pulled away before I could see the driver.
